Luke 12:49–56 - Holy Fire - Pastor David

Jesus came to bring a purifying fire to earth, not to destroy enemies but to refine His followers. This sanctifying fire burns away sin, brokenness, unforgiveness, and competing allegiances that hinder our walk with Him. Before this fire could be kindled, Jesus had to undergo the 'baptism' of His death and resurrection. Though following Jesus may cause division even within families, His way of self-giving love transforms our priorities and values. The good news is that this holy fire has already come through the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and continues to work in believers' lives today.
