Who We Are

We Follow Jesus

We are a Christian people who are responding to the invitation to put our trust in Jesus and follow Him. We believe Jesus is God the Son, fully God and fully man, the second person of the Trinity, which includes God the Father and God the Holy Spirit; one God–three persons. Jesus is the Word of God, and all the scriptures point us to Him.

By grace, through faith in Jesus, we receive both forgiveness and healing; we are set free from the guilt and shame of the wrongs we have done and find healing from the wrongs that have been done to us.

That work of Jesus launches us on a new journey as followers of Jesus. Empowered by the Holy Spirit we seek to not just learn about Jesus, but to live like Jesus and be directed by the Spirit. As we live the Way of Jesus we are being transformed into the very image of Christ.

Come and join us as we follow Jesus together!

Who We Are

We Live Community

Community is not just our name, but who we are striving to be. As disciples of Jesus we unite together with other followers, grow together in faith, and are being transformed into the image of Jesus. Besides worshiping together each week, and discipleship classes, we encourage everyone to be part of small group where life is shared, transparency and accountability are practiced, and prayer and support is offered.

We work to be connected with, bless, and serve the community around us. Each month we distribute food to hundreds of families in our community. We have monthly community events that provide free, fun, and safe evenings for our neighbors. Check out our events page to learn more. Beyond formal ministries, we encourage everyone to find ways to connect with and serve their neighbors and neighborhood.

Who We Are

We are Nazarene

We are part of the Church of the Nazarene, a family of over 30,000 churches and 2.7 million members gathering in over 165 world areas. With roots that reach back to the Anglican and Methodist traditions, the very first Church of the Nazarene was started in Los Angeles in 1895 as a mission to the poor.

The name “Nazarene” refers to Jesus Christ, who grew up in the humble city of Nazareth. In the gospel of John, upon learning of Jesus' hometown, Nathanial asks whether anything good can come from Nazareth. Remembering that Jesus was a Nazarene reminds us that God identifies with the poor, the outcast, the everyday needs of the common person, and believes that every life, no matter what, can be set free from the power of sin and live life that is pleasing to God.
